7:32 p.m. - 2004-10-24 YAY MAKEUP ENTRY!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WARNING!! There are some ULTRA scary pictures of me with no makeup on in this entry... Side effects from viewing such zombielookingness include (but are not limited to) heart burn, nausea, upset stomach, and diarrhea.... you have been warned. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Foundation: Revlon colorstay "sand beige" Blush: Bonne Bell bronze powder "golden tan" pencil eyeliner: Prestige waterproof automatic eyeliner "black" liquid eyeliner: Amazing i-liner 16 hour liquid eyeliner "black" mascara: Maybelline full 'n soft "black" lip gloss: Mary Kay "almond glaze" START with a clean face. I like to do my makeup fresh out of the shower, but you might shower at night or whatever... So just start with a clean face. You're going to want to pull your hair back (as not to get any makeup in it.) AND take out any facial jewelery you might have (such as nose rings etc.) FOUNDATION! if you're not sure about what color you need, it's better to go a little to light than a little to dark. If you go to dark you end up with and orange pumpkin skin. even though it's almost halloween, pumpkin skin is still out. I like most of my makeup to be either waterproof or some sort of long lasting formula (except for mascara, because I have a tendency to pick at it when im bored/sleepy/upset or whatever... picking at waterproof mascara pulls out your eyelashes. If I wore water proof mascara I wouldn't have any eyelashes left.) put about 1 or 2 pumps of foundation on your finger. Dot it in your problem areas (any place on your face that tends to go red, or has uneven color) such as your cheeks, and your nose. I also like to use it on my eyelids, because it makes a smooth even surface for eyeshadow. blend it in allover till you have an even skin tone.
Next I do blush. I use Bonne Bell bronzing powder as a blush, because I think it looks more natural than all the silly pink blushes we have out here. Lightly sweep it under your cheek bone from ear to about where the color starts in your eye. Smile really big and Lightly brush it on the fatty round parts of your cheek by your nose. ALSO, if you have a round face (like I do) you can lightly sweep it in the shape of a "C" from the top outer sides of your eye brows down below your cheek bones... this will make your face look less round. I also like to brush it over my eyelids when I'm not wearing eyeshadow.... blend it all in.
at this point you can put your jewelry back in. If you're going to do eyeshadow, I like to use weird pastel colors, like sea-foam green, peach, or lavender. eyeshadow is very forgiving put it wherever on you eyelid that you want, and then just blend out the parts you don't like with your finger.
next I like to us black waterproof pencil liner. Pull down your bottom eye lid and CAREFULLY draw across that little ridge above your eyelashes and blend it into your lashes. Then lift up your upper lid and VERY CAREFULLY draw across the little ridge below your upper lashes.
YAY YAY liquid eyeliner! This is my favorite part! yo can use a little or A LOT for a more dramatic effect. start at the inner corner of your upper eyelid and work your way to the outer corners. I like to pull it out past my eyelids to make a more dramatic effect.
then throw on some mascara, and a little lip gloss, AND YOUR DONE!!!
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
